Akhenaten's stolen toe comes back to Egypt. Still the stolen head of his wife Nefertiti is in Germany though!

A century ago this toe of Tutankhamun's father, Akhenaten, was stolen while his dead body was being examined, exactly in 1907, when someone cut this toe and sent it to the typical stolen history market, Switzerland.
A spokesperson in Cairo stated that "The toe is now back in Egypt and will be displayed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo," who confirmed that the toes was stolen from "some Pharaoh's body that was found in the Valley of the Kings''
A scientist at the University of Zurich,Frank Ruehli, received ''thanks to his personal contacts'' since a diplomat said that it was his ''private initiative'', however Switzerland's government was announced not to have any part of the whole process. Though it is the 16th country to sign the accord on stolen antiquities, that diplomat stated that "Switzerland’s signature was particularly important as it had been a major transit point in the trade in smuggled artefacts"
Zahi Hawass announced that the DNA tests confirmed that the toe belongs to Akhenaten's feet.
Some believe that the incident is the ''beginning'' of the return of Egyptian antiquities that have been stolen during the past few centuries, still the future of important antiquities like the Bust of Nefertiti that was stolen in 1913 and now located in Germany, and the Rosetta Stone which is located in England since 1802, the future of these important antiquities still so dark indeed.
